Destrehan Plantation- NO, LA
Taken at the lovely old Destrehan Plantation home in New Orleans. Note the Creole kumquat Christmas tree-- might have to start using that in the future, as my parents totally have one at the house. Also note the Spanish moss everywhere. Apparently it's illegal to pull it off trees and can only be collected if it falls off naturally? Not like it's endangered or anything.. I mean, it's literally on everything. Nice little tour of the place and history lesson. Very enjoyable.

My bf had the entire week off work, which meant I got to drag him wherever I felt like going. Which incidentally, was the Natural Science Museum's free day Tuesday, where we got to squeeze in with hoards of little children in all the exhibits. And I made him shoot me in my new stars top from Zara. The weather was gorgeous though really freaking cold. And the 3rd to last pic- I'm pretty sure I've reconstructed this photo every time I've been there since a kid. Ha.
